AM Snack: organic strawberries, water

PM Snack: air popped popcorn, dried cherries/blueberries/craisins
Classroom Highlights:

Infant Room: Today we read Thunder Cafe and The Happy Egg. We sat in a circle and sang "patty cake"and blew bubbles. Gage and Emma played ball. Emma stood up at the windowsill by herself. We listened to bear stories and everyone had lots of one-on-one cuddles and giggles. Caprice introduced basic colors and also looked at several pictures of barnyard animals, and she mimiced the sounds of each animal.played ball. Emma stood up at the windowsill by herself. Toddler Room: The class enjoyed playing with new tennis balls outside from Jeanne. We rolled them, collected them in a wagon, and attempted to throw them to friends. We read Polar Bear, Polar Bear What do you Hear? and had fun singing "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes".

PreK: We started the day with morning farm chores. During circle time we read Henny Penny and When the Rooster Crowed. Kids modeled beeswax into eggs, chicks, and snakes. We loved having popcorn as a snack in our classroom!

Summer Camp: Today the children enjoyed riding Queso. He got very tired, though, and a couple of friends did not get to ride today. Inside, the kids had fun playing a pretend game of family. They enjoyed learning how popcorn pops with Janie, and watched the corn pop in a hot air popper. Matt brought Mexican jumping beans to show the class from his parents' trip.
