Riding Day in Summer Camp

We've conducted a small summer camp this year. One of the kids' favorite things is spending time with the animals, especially Queso on "riding day"--Tuesday. While the children wait for their turn, they have developed a climbing game. It's really cool to watch them use their imaginations. Our camp is technology-free, except for Thursdays when the kids use their digital cameras to campture images around the farm. Kids who can still enjoy playing dog or horse, pretend to cook, play hospital, tag, create board games, and fashion their own tools out of sticks are super-cool kids in my book.

Thanks to Allision Sutton for helping them with sewing projects, Sarah Justice for helping the kids learn to finger knit and learn some basic sewing stitches, and to Stacy Wooster for showing them some new yoga moves.
