Our PreK classes have names now: "The Dolphins", "The Peacocks", and "The Ponies". Each class does a rotation through activities outside each morning. The have a class flag and a sign on their water bottle box!

The Two class loved chili soup for lunch and fresh baked bread! The had fun making bread on the balcony.

Bug week continues! The PreK children had a good day rotating through outside gardening work, time with the rabbits, and reading books about insects. PreK is divided into 3 groups: the Dolphins, the Ponies, and the Peacocks. They are having fun--especially with some crafty bug rings! The 2s and toddlers loved black beans and cheese quesadillas. We enjoyed reading our friend Francis' shirt, which quotes Daniel Boone.

Thanks

After a couple of years of cutting our chops, we've arrived. The phone won't stop ringing, and remarkable families are finding us. Now, to refine our work. To be the greenest, happiest, most nurturing little school in the area . . .

We're unstoppable. On fire.

Thank you, thank you to our great staff. Thank you to our great customers, (most especially those under age 5).

Thank you to our husbands and to our children for putting up with less nurturing, fewer spectacular dinners, and houses that were pretty scrambled.

Thank you universe for allowing prosperity to flow our way.

Happy Earth Day! We enjoyed a drizzly day outside as part of "rain" week! We had a good time with a new friend Ella, who will start with us in May. Kari and her class had fun creating an alphabet board with sticks, and the children had fun making mud cakes for Mother Earth!

Each day, the children scrape their plates after lunch for our pig Lucy. They scrape the plates, then gently place their "glass" dish in another bus tub. The children then help wipe the tables and sweep the floor. "Life" is at the heart of our curriculum!
