School Announcements: Happy tax day! We had a busy day here on the farm. Jesse has been busy disassembling a barn on a property in Pflugerville. There is an incredible amount of wood that we need to sort, but we're very excited to have it to use for additional structures for our animals.

Infants: Caprice read and sang to the infants. Ali is crawling everywhere, and pulling up to standing. Gage is moving around the room a bit on his tummy, and is building his upper body strength. Lorelai is a little songbird--she loves to make lots noises! Emma Grace has learned to roll over onto her side.

Toddlers: The class enjoyed reading Eric Carle's Polar Bear, Polar Bear and First Book of Colors. Janie named the colors in Spanish for the children. As always, the children enjoyed visiting the animals. Everyone showed off their monkey skills, with lots of climbing today.

Twos: The children baked bread with Christin. The class is talking about colors this week, and did a sorting activity in the classroom. All of the boys look taller this week . . .

PreK: Today in PreK we enjoyed baking bread and planting corn. A special farm tale that taught an important lesson about selfishness and, alternatively, helping others, was told with our new animal figures as props. Some friends worked on stick letters in Leslie's class, and some enjoyed playing in a tent and the teepee. Reagan's group learned a new "good morning" song and took a farm walk. We had a busy day!
