The Austin Farmer's Market

Last Saturday we rounded the kids up and headed into Austin for some fun. Our destination--The Austin Farmer's Market at Republic Square Park. They have many great vendors, live music and plenty of free parking! The kids enjoyed walking around, enjoying a vegan baked good of their choice and lots of time playing in the square.

Here's the skinny on the Austin Farmer's Market:
  • Saturdays from 9 AM - 1 PM
  • Live music
  • Seating available for relaxation and eating
  • Free metered parking available along with garage parking at San Antonio and Third Street [Austin Energy Parking Garage]

Signs directing you to the free parking located inside the Austin Energy Parking Garage at the corner of Third and San Antonio.

A view of the market.....

Taking a break to show off our purchases....fresh flowers and Round Rock honey!
One of the many vegan vendors at the market.
Republic Squre Park is getting a facelift and looks really nice...complete with soft, green grass!

Our kids couldn't resist rolling down the hill! Great entertainment.
Cousins take a break to dance on the park benches.
Iris, Olivia, Isaac & Asa [from L to R]
Asa heads over to check out the fountain.
A great day to wear my boots.
