School Announcements:
Remember that school will be closing at 5:30 PM beginning April 1st.

We will be closed 4/10 and 4/13. 4/10 is a school holiday, and 4/13 is a staff development day.

We are excited to begin our garden this month--any green thumbs want to help? Also watch for a list of volunteer projects and a materials wish list coming soon . . .

Highlights from the Infant/Toddler Room:
Today was a quiet day with Caprice. Luke, Ali, Gage, and Jack enjoyed listening to Caprice play the xylophone. Caprice danced and sang songs to the children including "Father is Taking us to the Zoo Tomorrow". Luke and Jack are using a lot of words. Gage and Ali love to reach for toys, and Ali is roving around the room a bit on her belly.

Highlights from the Twos Room:
The children had fun making foot prints with blue paint. The class is getting really good at working puzzles, and love to make animals sounds! Everyone is growing and maturing a lot. In the late afternoon, Waylon helped feed Queso. Gavin loves to give kisses! Lena is getting more comfortable at school all the time, and loves music. Mason loves to dance, and enjoyed playing with a five year old friend, Matt, on the playground.

Highlights from the PreK: Today we had fun dancing and singing "The Farmer in the Dell" and "Miss Lucy Had a Baby". Our tale this week is "Jack and the Beanstalk". The children enjoyed playing a pretend scenario of "coyote", where coyote's ransacked a home set up by other children. The writing table was a popular station. Outside, we went on a farm walk and enjoyed petting all of the animals. We walked the labyrinth together, and a few friends learned that if they stayed the course, they would always make it out of the labyrinth without having to step over rocks/off the path. We sat in the middle of the labyrinth and enjoyed making up songs as we counted twenty cars drive by. This afternoon, we will do our wet on wet painting.
