Don't forget that the school will begin closing at 5:30 PM starting 4/1. We are focusing our staffing on the busier mornings!

Thank you for all of the great referrals! A reminder that any client who refers another family receives a $50 tuition credit.

Thanks to Stacy Wooster for donating the cantaloupe seeds and time working on craft projects with the children.

Thanks to Sarah Ballard for donating a copy of Orion's favorite, Goodnight, Gorilla as well as a Haba baby toy.

Thanks to Nancy and Lee Rice (Leslie and Janie's mom and dad) for donating a ton of seeds, soil, and starter trays. Did you know that our parents never stop supporting our efforts (and now our kids)? Thanks, mom and dad, for all that you do!

Highlights from the Infant/Toddler Area:
Gage, Ali, and Emma enjoyed hearing Caprice sing campfire songs. Emma sat in the Bumbo for the first time for about five minutes. Caprice read an ABC book to the children. In the Toddler area, the children are getting to know Christin. The kids enjoyed a walk to see the animals, and always enjoy looking at books.
Luke loves to watch Abby!

Maya and Jack try to smile for the camera, but the sun is in their little eyes. Jack's big sister Catherine caught a ride with this duo when her legs got tired.

Highlights from the Twos Room: Welcome back, Waylon and your boots. We missed you and we're glad you're feeling better! Today the class read Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed and We're Going Bear Hunting. They sang their ABCs, Mason's favorite "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and learned the hand motions to "I Had a Little Turtle . . .". The children built structures with Duplo blocks, played dress up with capes and hard hats, and tossed bean bags. This afternoon the class will have a picnic snack, fingerpaint, and visit the animals.

Lena enjoyed the Duplo blocks and the farm puzzle. Mason clapped his hands in excitement while dancing to music. Kai loved the new turtle song. Maksim was a great helper--he loved cleaning up and putting blocks away. Gavin enjoyed the monkey book and laughed when Janie bumped her head during story time. Waylon had a great time dancing to music and being with his friends after almost a week! Gabrielle recited the story Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed as Janie read it.

Highlights from the PreK: Today during morning outside time we planted more cantaloupe, tomato, and wheatgrass starts. We took all of the plant starts to the greenhouse, and we realized how hot the greenhouse can be even on a chilly day. The cats followed us in the greenhouse, and soon they were clammering to get out of the heat, too! We watered the morning glory seeds that we planted last week and walked the labyrinth. We have been walking things out to the recycling boxes and the children are surprised at how much recycling can be done right here at school. In just one week, we have kept four giant boxes of material our of the landfill! Many children really experimented with hummus today at lunch and many discovered they liked to dip their sandwiches in the spread as well as their carrots. This afternoon we will do wet on wet painting.
