Our classmates are pretty amazing people--parents, Waldorf teachers, in-home care providers, Waldorf-inspired school employees, current and former public school employees, and someone who works in public housing (hoping to provide Waldorf-inspired childcare to the children of single moms). I have particularly enjoyed talking to a mom and daughter from Cali who had a Waldorf school on their biodynamic farm when their own children were young, and who will be offering in- home childcare when they return home.
We are learning to play kinderharps, which are nearly impossible, we've been told, to play in an ear burning manner. Well, there was one blessed harp in our ensemble that sounded a little rough...I hope I can get that tuned for this afternoon's session. Ha!
There is much talk in our few minutes of down-time each day about chickens, gardening, finding balance between home life and work life, and nutrition!
Back at school, all is well (thank you, thank you ladies!).
It's "Frog Week", y'all!
