School Announcements:
Happy Birthday, Austin! Austin is turning 3 today and we hope he has a great birthday!
Highlights from the Infant Room:
Ms. Caprice kept busy with Gage and Emma Grace. Gage is really working on sitting up on his own and enjoys looking around the classroom. Ms. Caprice played the xylophone for the kiddos. Ms. Caprice often plays a tropical oasis cd and Gage can mimic the birds he hears. Emma Grace is more alert every day and doesn't like to be where she might miss out on the action. We miss our friends Ali and Alex and hope they're feeling better!
Highlights from the Toddler/Twos Room:
Orion enjoyed rocking in the rocking chair, Luke loved snack and mealtimes [he's our official school lunch lover!], Jack enjoyed roving around the room on his own, Maksim is the big helper and Kai loved hearing stories read by Ms. Gayelyn. The children also enjoyed playing with blocks and visiting the animals.
Highlights from the PreK:
The children had fun creating field journals to use when out on a nature hike on the farm. The children listened to the retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk, sang numerous songs including Oats, Peas, Beans and Barley Grow. We enjoyed the fresh air and spent some much needed time outside playing.

School Announcements: Lily, Abby, and Queso all had their hooves trimmed by the farrier today.
Highlights from the Infant/Toddler Rooms: We all went on a farm walk today and enjoyed the great weather. It was good to see our friend Maya again. Jack is busy roving around the classroom, and we think Luke may have bitten his finger each lunch so fast! Ali loves to scoot on her belly and waves--we hope her belly feels better soon. Emma Grace is starting to smile and is ticklish! This afternoon, we will have a turn at kneading dough as a sensory activity!
Highlights from the Twos Room: Today we had fun outside after not having much outside time this week. We enjoyed baking bread.
Highlights from the PreK: Today in PreK we had a great time "working out" with Landon's mom, Ashley. We made bread, and reviewed the bread baking rhyme. We enjoyed lots of great play time in the sunshine and warm weather. Play indoors included taking care of babies, our beloved "coyote" game, cooking dominoes, the writing table, and building a train track.

Lunch: deli ham, wholegrain crackers, chilled organic green peas, pineapple chunks, organic milk.
