We stumbled on to a lovely park a few Saturdays ago when we took the kids "into town" to the Austin Farmer's Market. Mueller Lake Park is situated in the new Mueller Austin development directly behind Dell Children's Hospital. The green space is amazing and the park is a breath of fresh air with the latest in play equipment, playground is fully fenced, has great restrooms adjacent to the playground, walking trails [read tricycle path] and picnic spaces.
Our kids had a blast and didn't want to leave--Leslie and I didn't want to, either!
