Spring is here and we're enjoying all the native flowers that are blooming on the school grounds.
Infant Room: Ms. Caprice was out today and was missed by all the children. We are excited to have her back tomorrow. Lorelei and Emma Grace enjoyed some floor time and "talking" to each other, Gage is babbling nonstop these days and Ali is really moving around the room and pulling herself up to look out the windows. Thanks to Ms. Tina for all the nurturing in Ms. Caprice's absence.
Toddler Room: A long stroll outside to visit the animals was just what the doctor ordered for the toddlers today! The weather was beautiful and the children enjoyed "talking" to the animals on our walk. Jack is so close to walking and we're anxiously awaiting his first solo steps at school. Leo enjoyed spinning plates on the floor and watching them fall over. Luke, the constant bookworm, was nose deep in a pile of books. Maya keeps the boys on their toes and scaled the classroom table numerous times. "Keep your feet on the floor" is a phrase uttered by Ms. Janie frequently these days.
Twos Room: As usual, Ms. Christin and the Twos were busy enjoying the outdoors today! Everyone worked up a huge appetite for lunch and then passed out for a long, overdue nap! Primary colors are the focus and the children are getting better at identifying colors.
PreK: Ms. Regan and the Pre-K painted with the color red today. They enjoyed storytime, lots of outdoor time [love this weather!] and wore themselves out! Saxon's crawfish was a hit and the children loved observing all it's moves. Everyone in the Pre-K took a nap this afternoon [unusual occurence] and then celebrated Nina's birthday with some delicious cookies at snack time.
