Tuesday, 11/11/08

Today we enjoyed playing amid a few drops of rain early in the morning. During morning snack, we heard thunder and saw a flash of lightening . . .surely it was a day for boots! We had a grand time tracking through the mud!

Here are our friends in each class:

Infants: Ali, Jack
Toddlers: Kai, Gavin, Orion, Luke, Waylon
2s: Kaleb, Jaden, Isaac, Asa, Gabrielle, Maksim,
PreK: Ben, Catherine, Claudia, Colton, Cooper, Gigi, Iris, Jordan, Katie, Landon, Leilani, Matt, Miles, Nina, Saxon, Spencer, Soleil, Siler, Wacy

Here is our song before eating--it means "thanks that we have enough to eat" . . .

(Speak--let the children how to match their fingers as they say this, then place hands in lap)
Oaka, Poka, Ribika, Soaka
Oaka, Poka, Cloak
(Sing)
Earth who gives to us this food
Sun who makes it ripe and good
Dearest Earth and dearest sun
We will remember what you have done.
Hmmm, Hmmm, Hmmm

Today in PreK
