New School Note: We're so excited about our new location on Crystal Falls Parkway! Things are moving along and we're excited to announce that we have our first farm animal to add to our "school farm". Lucy, the potbelly pig will be joining us when the school opens. Lucy is being donated to us by a family friend of Mattvey. Lucy's family is moving within the city limits and will not be able to provide a home for Lucy once they move. We're honored that they have chosen The Good Earth Day School as Lucy's new residence.
We've also had several people ask about the distance of the new school in relation to our current school. The new location is approximately 3.5 miles from the intersection of Parmer and 1431. The drive time is approximately 5 minutes. For those who may access the school from west of Parmer, you can easily take the 183A extension [no toll applies] and drive a few short miles to Crystal Falls Parkway. The school is located approximately 1/4 of a mile from the 183A/Crystal Falls intersection.
Special Note: Starting next week, we will have splash day one time per week, Thursday. We have been fortunate to have a few rain showers the past few days, however, we feel it's better to conserve water and offer splash once a week for the remainder of the summer.
