The Scottish Rite Theater hosts productions for children that are, at times, interactive and just 45 minutes to an hour long. They are a lot of fun for the whole family, and the characters are available for autographs after the show. Children may sit on a special place on the floor in front of the stage, in seats with parents, or in the balcony (definitely with parents!). The theater feels like my high school auditorium . . . a retro treat now! Parking is free in the adjacent lot. Makes for a nice Saturday or Sunday downtown . . . maybe soon it would be fun to ride the light rail down from Leander.
